About Hayley

Hailed as a “rising star of the indie music scene,” by Entertainment Tonight and "refreshingly unassuming" by Pitchfork Media , Hayley Taylor has found great success in the realm of movies and television with her music featured in commercials,  movie soundtracks, and TV shows, including Ginny & Georgia, How I Met Your Mother, Pretty Little Liars, Rush, Royal Pains, and MTV’s Real World.

Taylor's second full-length album, How the Light Gets In,  comes out in 2023.  You can hear her first single, Slow Motion, here.  Departing from her acoustic folk-rock roots, Taylor experiments with shimmering electronics and fiery drumbeats to create a dreamscape of synth pop. The album features songs produced by Grammy award winner Dan Romer (Shawn Mendes, Ingrid Michaelson),   John Morrical (Santigold, Charli XCX), Rich Jacques (Lisa Loeb), and Anthony Burulcich (The Bravery, Weezer), and Josh Grondin (The Hanks).

Taylor is currently in the studio with Burulcich working on their new band collaboration, X My Heart.  Their single Closer to Me was featured on HBO's Crashing and is now available on iTunes here.
